I thoroughly enjoyed my year at Mechinat Avnei Eitan – Leadership Yeshiva Academy (LYA). I had a strong personal connection to each of the rabbis at LYA, and felt comfortable approaching them on any topic, and very much enjoyed challenging them with difficult questions. Like the other students, I received a lot of personal attention and support. This fuelled my learning and love and connection to Torah and Israel.

The skills and academic credits I gained at LYA have directly aided my studies at Yeshiva University (NYC). I was awarded accreditation for the courses completed at LYA; more importantly, I felt ready to take on the challenge of higher education and ongoing spiritual growth.

Chaim Eli Safier comes from Memphis. He is a graduate of Margolin Hebrew Academy Feinstone Yeshiva. He is currently completing a degree in Business at Yeshiva University.
